Time for tea!
Conwy, 7th May.

On the way home from our holiday, we spent the Saturday in Conwy - a place in which I have been many times in my childhood and I still adore it.

We found the nearest tea shop and went in for a spot of lunch, it was delicious! everything was fresh and the tea was exquisite, (I had the ‘tea room blend’)

This is my favourite shop in Conwy… It sells everything cute and vintage looking.

Here’s the website - please take a look! http://www.secretg.co.uk/index.htm

Beddgelert, 5th May.

I went on a short holiday to Wales with my Grandparents and my sister, infact, it was a small treat for them when I received my student loan.

On a day out to Beddgelert, a very small sleepy Welsh town which is only known for being the resting place of a dog that was wrongfully killed by his owner (story http://www.beddgelerttourism.com/gelert/) and that illustrator and creator of Rupert Bear, Alfred Bestall lived there. We found a very old tea shop which was also a B&B, we went in for Tea…

For the Royal Wedding, my family and I decided to have an afternoon of teas, sandwiches and cakes whilst watching the live footage on television. I must say, after 8 solid hours of drinking tea and eating cake - I felt a little sick!

My sister and I bought new dresses for the occasion, as it’s always nice to dress up. Mine was from my favourite shop - Jack Wills, and my sisters was from Cath Kidston - another favourite shop of ours.

We went a little over the top, and bought anything in sight which commemorated the Royal Wedding, including the McVities biscuit tin, and a special teacup and saucer set from H. Samuel.

It was a lovely day, and I thoroughly enjoyed our mammoth Afternoon Tea.
